                              ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

                              Dawn M. Lurie(DL) is a shareholder at Polsinelli, PC. She is recognized in the legal community as a sophisticated and forward thinking immigration compliance authority and EB-5 investment strategist. She focuses on visa and compliance issues. Dawn is proud to be considered a trusted partner to corporate clients and is relied on for her ability to spot impending government enforcement trends. She has represented clients in the EB-5 program since the early years of the program's inception, in the 1990s. Her experience has evolved over the last two decades as the EB-5 program progressed from an obscure means of obtaining U.S. residency, to a viable mechanism of funding a significant portion of the capital stack for large-scale projects and infrastructure building across industries. Attending EB-5 Board hearings in D.C., participating in the stakeholder conversation process with the USCIS and advocating for EB-5 immigration reform, provides her clients with a unique Washington perspective. Dawn serves on the EB-5 trade association's (IIUSA) Best Practices Committee and is a past Chair of the DC Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

                              Rana Jazayerli is a Partner at Phillips Lytle LLP. She provides counsel on all areas of U.S. immigration law, with a focus on employment-based visas, counseling employers on a broad range of immigration matters, including the hiring of foreign nationals under temporary employment visa categories such as H-1Bs and L-1As. She also advises employers on proper I-9 form compliance and the use of the federal E-Verify employment authorization program.                               Parisa Karaahmet is a partner at Fragomen and leads a team specializing in individual, complex and corporate immigration matters. She has presented at Pace University’s Judicial Institute, guest lectured at Cardozo Law School, and speaks at national conferences. She chairs Practicing Law Institute’s annual conference “Defending Removal Proceedings” and co-chairs the American Bar Association Immigration Litigation Committee. Parisa previously served as an Assistant District Counsel and Acting Deputy District Counsel for the Immigration and Naturalization Service, New York District Office. Her areas of specialty include advising clients with respect to criminal and other inadmissibility grounds, employer sanctions, EB-5, E-verify and I-9 compliance.                               Daniel B. Lundy is a Partner at the Philadelphia Office of Klasko Immigration Law Partners, LLP. He is also a member of the Firm's EB-5 Team. Mr. Lundy has successfully represented numerous immigrant investors in their EB-5 petitions and applications, including investors seeking permanent residence through investment in their own businesses and investors seeking permanent residence through investments into USCIS approved Regional Centers. Mr. Lundy also represents developers and others who seek to use foreign investment funds under the EB-5 program to fund their projects, either through the formation of a Regional Center or by joining with an existing Regional Center. Mr. Lundy works with various securities lawyers, economists, business plan writers and other professionals in the preparation and filing of Regional Center designation and Regional Center amendment applications. Mr. Lundy is experienced in reviewing Regional Center and project business plans, economic reports, securities offering documents, and corporate documents for compliance with the EB-5 program requirements, and in consulting and advising clients on the specific immigration requirements of the EB-5 program. Mr. Lundy is admitted to the bar in the State of New York, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Lundy is a graduate of Hunter College (B.A., 2000) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 2006). He is a member of the New York County Lawyer's Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

                              Samuel Newbold is a critical member of the firm’s EB5 Department and has developed an immigration practice that is centered on investors and entrepreneurs. Mr. Newbold works closely with foreign nationals seeking nonimmigrant or immigrant status through E-2 or EB5 investments and is experienced in all of the nuances of the immigration process. He also represents developers looking to establish and administrate Regional Center projects under the EB-5 program.

                              Michael Petrucelli is a Principal and sr advisor at US Freedonm Capital. He served as Acting Director of US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after previously working for two years as Deputy Director. Prior to USCIS, Mr. Petrucelli served as Senior Vice President for Operations and Chief of Staff of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. He has also served as a business policy advisor at the US Federal Communications Commission and as a career Foreign Service Officer at the US Department of State.

                              Genevieve Roman is the in-house EB-5 immigration counsel for the Extell New York Regional Center. Genevieve’s practice is focused on representation of individual EB-5 investors as well as working with the regional center to monitor project compliance with the requirements of the regional center program. Prior to joining the team at ENYRC, Genevieve was an associate at the Law Office of Robert B. Jobe in San Francisco, CA, a highly regarded immigration law firm that has changed the landscape of asylum law in the United States, where she gained experience in a broad range of immigration practice.

                              John Roth is Managing Attorney at the Roth Immigration Law Firm. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association. In addition to being an immigration attorney, he has an extensive business background, including an M.B.A. For the Wharton School of Finance, a Series 7 and a Series 63 license, and he is a registered representative of a Broker-Dealer firm. His firm, EB-5 Analytics, provides due diligence analyses of EB-5 regional center projects for EB-5 Pilot Program immigrant investors.

                              Reid Thomas is the Executive Vice President at NES Financial, leading the company's sales and marketing organization. He brings over 20 years of executive management experience at both private and public companies, including Laszlo Systems, Octel Communications, and VINA Technologies. During his time with NES Financial, Mr. Thomas has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the company's EB-5 business, making NES Financial the leader in EB-5 by providing innovative solutions specifically built for the industry. Mr. Thomas' active participation in the EB-5 community has made him a frequent and sought after speaker at events and conferences across the country.                               Gregory White is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Mr. White’s practice focuses on the representation of corporations, private equity funds, venture capital firms, and corporations in financing, technology and M&A transactions.A substantial portion of Greg’s practice includes high-tech and emerging growth companies in a number of industries, including software, telecommunications, data storage, mobile technology, medical technology and e-commerce. In addition to representing such companies in fundraising transactions, Greg’s work for these clients includes representation in connection with corporate partnering, joint ventures and strategic alliances, as well as licensing, marketing, distribution, service, support, outsourcing, and other agreements.Mr. White has an extensive practice assisting venture capital and private equity funds in the capital formation and investment process and in connection with M&A transactions. His practice includes both start-up and public company work and he has extensive experience in the area of securities law practice and compliance. Mr. White is a frequent lecturer on various aspects of venture capital transactions and has authored articles and legal education publications on private equity transactions.
