ICE Scheduled Departure Program for non-criminal fugitive aliens

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Scheduled Departure Program is a method of enforcing orders of removal without the arrest and detention of non-criminal fugitive aliens.

If you are an immigration fugitive and have questions about whether you qualify for the Scheduled Departure Program, you may call 1-866-880-6344 toll free. ICE staff can answer your questions in English or Spanish. The ICE Office of Public Affairs is available to provide more information to the news media. The ICE Office of Congressional Relations has provided a briefing on the Scheduled Departure Program to members of Congress and is available to answer any further questions.

The pilot program is scheduled to take place from August 5 – 22, 2008, in five cities:

  • Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Santa Ana, California (Los Angeles area)
