Dear Editor:
The recent announcement by the President to give 8 million people legal status for whatever time period is another sort of reward for all those who intentionaly break the law of this great country. This announcement seems to be poltically motivated for certain short term gains. Although I agree that illegals workers have made their contribution to the economy by performing certain jobs. But the President or Congresss are not taking any pains for all those who are interested to come here legally under certain family categories. The backlog in this category stands as long as for a life time for them to join their relatives. The cap has been not raised for a long time for this catagory. The F4 category for India and Phillipines is the worst and I believe that they will never be able to come join their brothers and sisters in their life span. If given a chance, these people can fulfill all jobs Americans are not willing to perform, currently performed by illegals. All those who have applied to immigrate thru proper legal channels have been denied justice. Justice delayed is justice denied.
