According to the Congressional Record, the House Committee on the Judiciary: Subcommittee on Immigration and Claims approved for full Committee action H.R. 2623, the Posthumous Citizenship Restoration Act of 2001. At the request of Sen. Allen (R-VA), Sen Kerry (D-MA) was added as a cosponsor of S. Res. 185, a
resolution recognizing the historical significance of the 100th anniversary of Korean immigration to the United States. In introducing the District of Columbia Tax Incentives Improvement Act of 2002, Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) mentioned $4.5 million in tax exempt bonds issued by the District of Columbia for the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
