  Committee on the Judiciary: business meeting to consider the 
nomination of Robert D. McCallum, Jr., of Georgia, and Ralph F. 
Boyd, Jr., of Massachusetts, each to be an Assistant Attorney 
General, Department of Justice; S. 407, to amend the Trademark Act 
of 1946 to provide for the registration and protection of trademarks 
used in commerce, in order to carry out provisions of certain 
international conventions; S. 778, to expand the class of 
beneficiaries who may apply for adjustment of status under section 
245(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act by extending the 
deadline for classification petition and labor certification 
filings; S. 754, to enhance competition for prescription drugs by 
increasing the ability of the Department of Justice and Federal 
Trade Commission to enforce existing antitrust laws regarding brand 
name drugs and generic drugs; S. Res. 16, designating August 16, 
2001, as ``National Airborne Day''; and S. Con. Res. 16, expressing 
the sense of Congress that the George Washington letter to Touro 
Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island, which is on display at the B'nai 
B'rith Klutznick National Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., is one 
of the most significant early statements buttressing the nascent
