Comment: DREAM Act On Democratic Platform - The Daily Kos reported that Senate candidate and current Rep. Martin Heinrich (D-NM) has proposed that the Democratic Party adopts the DREAM Act as one of the party's platforms. He believes that by supporting and pushing for the DREAM Act, the party will uphold the fight for morality and justice. The importance of allowing undocumented youths the same rights and freedoms as their documented counterparts is integral to the growth of our country. Through the support of representatives like Mr. Heinrich and candidates like Shelley Berkley and Richard Carmona, and by making the DREAM Act a platform for the Democratic Party, the quintessential integrity of our country will be upheld. Please share your thoughts on the importance of the Democratic Party adopting the passage of the DREAM Act with us by writing to editor@ilw.com.
