Comment: Hypocritical Advocate - According to a Politico opinion piece, "the Obama campaign likes to portray the president as Latinos No. 1 advocate on immigration. They know that President Barack Obamas reelection needs the same level of support that he got from Latino voters in 2008. The problem, however, is that the campaigns assertion is false." Obama has deported more immigrants than any other president in history since records started being kept. A total of 1.2 million people have now been deported under the Obama administration, breaking up hundreds of thousands of families. He has failed to take leadership on solving our country immigration problem. He has blamed the Republicans in congress for the absence of serious immigration debate and comprehensive immigration bill passage, yet in first two year Democrats held majority in both the House and the Senate and no action was taken on immigration. The Obama campaign knows Latino voters are crucial to the 2012 presidential election. Latino immigrants are being persuaded to believe, yet again, that Obama will tackle immigration reform. He already failed to accomplish this in his first four years. Why should Latino voters believe that he will stick to his promises this time around? Let us know your thoughts at
