Dear Editor:
There is no better argument for immigration reform than stories like Luis Colorado's, which show how law-abiding immigrants are disadvantaged by playing by the rules and obeying our laws (06/30/09 ID). The law becomes contemptible when it begins to make more sense to cheat than to follow the laws. Immigration should be clearer and simpler. When that happens, it will, as a natural byproduct, become more just, easier and more palatable too.

Honza Prchal, Esq.
Birmingham, AL
