We once again remind new readers who have just joined the Immigration Daily reader community that this issue and the ones to come over the next couple of days will be considerably lighter in immigration law news than our usual issues. We will have much more in-depth issues upon our return to New York and will catch up on news from DOS, DOJ, DOL, the federal courts, the Federal Register and the Congressional Record. We will soon be announcing a new seminar on the process of immigration by Robert Divine. Upcoming issues of the Daily will carry further details on this exciting new seminar series.

Immigrants Are Not Drain On Economy
An opinion column in the Tuscon Citizen quotes Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan in congressional testimony last year saying "there are great misperceptions that immigrants are a drain on our economy, but many studies have confirmed that the opposite is true.
