Editor's Comments of the Day
In his new column
Immigration and Geopolitics in the Digital Age Gary Endelman, Esq. writes, "just as great nations competed for raw materials in the era of industrial growth, so international relations in the digital age will increasingly be marked by a global competition for high technology talent. This struggle will be most obvious in the world's most advanced economies with the lowest fertility rates and consequently the greatest need for immigration. The line between immigration and geopolitics will slowly fade. Once viewed as a purely a domestic problem, employment-based immigration will move center stage over time and become a core component of national foreign policy." As the need for skilled labor grows the fact that migration patterns are driven by economic factors will become the basis for determining immigration policy.

Help for Spouse of US Citizen
I am very pleased with what I find on your sight. Working independently, I am trying to help a few Honduran and Mexican friends. What is the best approach to help with the following:
Mr. X. is a naturalized citizen from Mexico. He married a Honduran woman in Hon. who is now pregnant. He has been trying hard to get her to the US. Their baby is due in September. Shall I contact my Senator for help with the paperwork (which always needs clarification on one more form which my friend forgot?) I filled out the form with and for him today which he will mail to his wife who will take it to a lawyer in Honduras who will take it to the US Embassy.
