A bill to ensure that no alien is removed, denied a benefit
under the Immigration and Nationality Act, or otherwise
deprived of liberty, based on evidence that is kept secret
from the alien; with an amendment (Rept. 106-981). Referred

Union.
Mr. SMITH of Texas: Committee on the Judiciary. H.R. 4548.
A bill to establish a pilot program creating a system of
registries of temporary agricultural workers to provide for a
sufficient supply of such workers, to amend the Immigration
and Nationality Act to streamline procedures for the
temporary admission and extension of stay of nonimmigrant
agricultural workers under the pilot program, and for other
purposes; with an amendment (Rept. 106-982, Pt. 1). Ordered
to be printed.
Mr. LEACH: Committee on Banking and Financial Services.
H.R. 4209. A bill to amend the Federal Reserve Act to require
the payment of interest on reserves maintained at Federal
Reserve banks by insured depository institutions, and for
other purposes; with amendments (Rept. 106-983). Referred to

Resolution providing for consideration of motions to suspend

bill (H.R. 4656) to authorize the Forest Service to convey
certain lands in the Lake Tahoe Basin to the Washoe County
