Mergers & Acquisitions Assistance for Law Firms
The list will include the firm's names, contact information, key decision makers, and a short 1-paragraph analysis of synergies for each one of the potential firms. We will be happy to make introductions to any of the key persons identified on the list.
Option Three: Homepage or Site-wide Advertisements ($999)
A homepage advertisement is a direct link to information about your identified goal that appears on the front page of ILW.COM. A site-wide advertisement is a similar link that appears in a box at the top of each page on our site other than our homepage. Our site receives more than 250,000 visits and generates almost 2 million page views per month. Each option listed above would cost $999 and run for three months. If you choose both options, we will give you an extra month at no additional cost.
Like with the service provider advertisement, we will also publicize your desired transaction through our social media outlets - Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and the ILW.COM attorney-to-attorney discussion board, etc. Announcements will reach all major forms of social networks that we currently have, the numbers in our networks are still modest - we have over 4,000 Twitter followers and almost 1,500 professionals in our Linked-In group.
Option Four: Package Review and Revision for Sellers and Merger Candidates ($799)
We will review the package that your firm has produced for potential acquirers or merger partners and revise it as necessary to make it most effective. We will use our previous experience in packaging material to maximize the buyer or merger partner interest. We will create two review packets. The first one should be a one- to two-page overview document and the second one will be a more detailed document, only available after an NDA has been signed. We will help you draft and polish up the two packages.
Option Five: Valuation ($499)
We will provide a valuation for any law firm using our proprietary methods, which represent a tailored departure from the way financial professional value traditional businesses. Our approach involves a distinction between the types of income and it factors in the size of the firm and the market that it serves. Our valuation will be based on our experience of approximately 25 such deals in these last 10 years, all of which involved immigration law firms.
Option Six: Execution Team Selection ($399)
We will suggest the right combination of professionals to design an execution team to carry out the buying, selling, or merging process. We will create a timeline to facilitate a seamless transition. We will suggest a list of specific local and/or non-local individuals who might be good fits to join the execution team.
Option Seven: Face-to-Face Introductions (based on requirements and geography)
In some situations, we may be able sit down with both parties involved in a potential transaction and help facilitate fruitful discussions. Naturally, this can only be done when we have pre-existing relationships with both parties and, of course, this will be easiest in the New York metropolitan area. In no case will we act as agents for either side. We will simply organize meeting over coffee where we would introduce the involved parties, facilitate open discussion, identify appropriate topics, and then step back from the conversation.
