as hundreds of thousands of DACA eligible individuals prepare their applications, the sighs of relief are harmonious and plenty. However, once the applications are sent out, another anxiety causing period resumes. The wait. Excruciating and tedious, the wait for applications to be processed and DACA to be granted will be nerve-wracking for all applicants. How long do you think the processing time will be? Share your thoughts!
Since DACA applications have been made available, two states, Arizona and Nebraska, have been particularly outspoken regarding their opposition to the process. Most recently, the two states have announced that they will still not permit individuals, regardless of whether or not they have been granted DACA, to receive state driver’s licenses. This raises the question of how much authority state governance over federal governance. Discuss your thoughts here!
