Immigrant Of The Day: Nikola Knezevic of Serbia

Nikola Knezevic
is a senior point guard, and solid defender, on the University of California basketball team, which currently is in first place in the Pacific 10 conference..  He initially joined the Bears in December 2005 from his native Serbia.  Nikola has been named to the Pac-10 All-Academic second team. 

Nikola played for the Serbia-Montenegro Junior National team at the Under-18 European Championships in 2004.  As a member of his Beovuk '72 club team, he helped the squad to a pair of Serbian titles and two Serbia-Montenegro championships.

Nikola was born in 1986, in Belgrade, Serbia.  He is pursuing an interdisciplinary studies major at Cal.
